Four Creative Experiences
Choose your creative adventure or try a few! Each option offers a unique way to create, relax and take home something special.
Painting
The easiest way to begin is ceramic painting. Choose a piece, pick your colours, and settle in!
Pottery
This is clay in your hands! We work by hand-building: pinch, coil, slab & templates.
Mosaic
Colour you can hold! Choose a base, play with tiles from our scratch patch & build a pattern piece by piece.
Sgraffito
Drawing by revealing! It is precise, quiet, and deeply satisfying.
PAINTING
We offer two kinds of painting, depending on the purpose and finish you want.
Underglaze Painting
Paint onto ceramic bisque with proper ceramic underglaze paint. Your design is then glazed and fired in a kiln, so the piece becomes durable, wipe-clean, and suitable for functional, food-safe ware. Safe to use in the Dishwasher, microwave, and Oven. Colours settle and deepen in the firing. You leave the piece with us; we message you when it is ready to collect. Best for Mugs, bowls, plates, and keepsakes you actually want to use.

Acrylic Painting
Paint onto ceramic or wood with acrylic paint. This is the take-home-today option – no kiln wait. Seal the piece before you leave with our Amazing Glaze sealer and it is ready to display. Perfect if you want a finished result in one sitting. Best for decor pieces, gifts you need this week and anyone who likes instant colour.

POTTERY
You can shape something real without needing the wheel. You make the form; we dry it, fire it, and you collect a fired bisk or a finished ceramic piece, depending on what you choose from our menu.
Hand Made Bowl
The classic beginner’s first piece: our popular Handmade Bowl! You choose your colour before leaving, and we will colour-wash your bowl and glaze-fire it. Please note that this can take up to 5 weeks before the bowl is ready for collection. We will message you when it is ready to collect.

MOSAICING
It is slower than painting and wonderfully absorbing – good conversation, good focus and a piece that looks complete when you stand back. Scratch patch only applies to the following items, should you wish to mosaic something else you will also need to purchase the mosaics & glue. You may use our tile cutters with pleasure!

SGRAFFITO
Colour is laid onto the unfired clay, then you scratch through it to uncover the layer beneath. Lines, patterns, leaves, lettering – the design appears as you carve. Warning: This is highly addictive!
